CEDAR MAKING CLASSES
Gina and Ken work with red cedar bark which follows the highly cultural importance of the Red Cedar Tree to BC's First Nations Peoples. This tree is considered the "tree of life". In that, the tree has supplied modes of travel, shelter, clothing, personal items for everyday life and also our cultural regalia (clothing), masks and other sacred items important and linked to the First Nations Peoples belief that all life is a balanced connection of spirit.
Today Gina and Ken are highly sought after and in demand to teach classes and make cedar hats in the traditional art form of CEDAR MAKING. Additionally, CEDAR "KITS" are available for facilitators to teach students. Gina is also available to organizations who wish for her to train.
From cedar hats, to roses, necklaces, bracelets, baskets and headbands. Ken and Gina hand pull their own cedar and do this in a traditional and sacred method.
Classes are open and available to ALL PEOPLES.

Learn to MakeWe not only teach cedar making to organizations but we offer small classes of 4 to 5 students of all ages and everyone.
During this class, either Gina or a Facilitator will teach you to make traditional cedar roses, cedar bracelets, cedar headbands, necklaces, hats or grad hats. PRICE LIST BELOW

Class Sizes: 4 to 5 persons
Per Person $50 per hour (minimum 3 hours to make)
Includes all tools and materials required. Learn from Wa Dzi Di (Gina) and take home a wonderful, hand crafted item to treasure!
